Hello world!

Aaagh!  After years of promising myself a blog I’ve finally gone and done it – and who better to post my blog with than WordPress?!

So, early days (okay, Day One!) and I’m a complete newbie so it might take a while to find my feet but let me go and play with some of the tools on the site and I’ll be back tomorrow for a proper blog entry.
